This year’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit welcomed a slew of upcoming vehicles, concepts, and innovative tech. At the center of the announcements was the country’s newest North American Utility Vehicle of the Year: The
2017 Chrysler Pacifica.

Beating out the likes of the Mazda CX9 and Audi Q7, the ’17 Pacifica is just the second minivan to ever win the award—the 1996 Chrysler Town & Country was the last minivan to win—and is available at our Fredonia CDJR dealership in five incredible trims: Limited, Touring L Plus, Touring L, Touring, and LX (as well as a Hybrid).

Functional almost beyond comprehension, the Pacifica was re-engineered from front to back and top to bottom, adding a new rigid platform, over one hundred safety features, available Uconnect Theater systems, and a minivan-exclusive hybrid model that delivers a superb 84 MPGe and a total range of over 566 miles.

The 2017 Pacifica LX is the base model. It comes with keyless ignition, multi-zone AC, a rearview camera, USB ports, Stow ’n Go Seats, driver seat Stow ‘n Assist, daytime running headlights, hill start assist, Keyless Enter-N-Go, tri-zone manual climate control, a 287-horsepower 3.6L V6, and more.

Upgrade to the Pacifica Touring and owners get proximity keyless entry, door handle LED lights, rear-seat reading lamps, 1-year SiriusXM service, power sliding doors, and automatic headlights.

Next up is the Pacifica Touring L, which comes with 3-zone automatic AC, full-length floor console, heated front seats, rear bag hooks, remote start, window shades, optional third-row USB charging, a garage door opener, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Stow ‘n Place roof rack (black), heated side mirrors, power liftgate, blind spot detection, rear park assist, SafetyTec, and an available inflatable spare tire.

The Touring L Plus adds passenger Stow ‘n Assist, leather bucket seats, power 8-way passenger seat with lumbar adjust, a 7.0-inch color display, heated second-row seats, heated steering wheel, a “super console,” optional Harman Kardon® 20-speaker sound system, fog lights, wireless headphones, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, rear-seat Blu-Ray entertainment center with seatback video screens, 17-inch alloy wheels, Stow ‘n Place roof rack (chrome), and optional SafetyTec Group systems.

At the top of the pack sits the Pacifica Limited. It comes standard with a chrome front grille, LED fog lights, power side mirrors, hands-free sliding doors, hands-free liftgate, chrome exterior mirrors with heating and memory settings, premium 18-inch aluminum wheels, Uconnect 8.4 NAV, a 5-year subscription to SirixXM Traffic, panoramic sunroof, Stow ‘n Vac vacuum, power folding third-row seat, and an upgraded dash and instrument panel.
